The simplest kit possible: a pen and a notebook. That is enough to sketch anything.Many urban sketchers begin with a basic ballpoint pen and a pocket notebook — nothing special, nothing expensive. You can add watercolour, different pens, or a better sketchbook later as your interest grows.— The USk manifesto says "we use any kind of media." There is no approved tool kit.
